Can Great White Sharks express emotion?

The story behind these photos is that this shark was caught in his fishing nets and he saves her and now she follows him everywhere and they have developed a relationship. Whether it's true or not, I'm not sure, there's no history of Great White's expressing any sort of emotion beyond biological need...Hmmmmmm...
